Like other years, Muslims will be able to pray at Al-Aqsa Mosque in the first week of the holy month of Ramadan, the Prime Minister's Office of Israel said.
On Tuesday (March 5), the country said that it was said that Muslims would be allowed to enter Al Aqsa in the same number of years in the first week of Ramadan, but the security situation will be reviewed every week and a decision will be taken accordingly.
Every year, thousands of Muslims offer prayers in Al-Aqsa, but since October last year, the situation has been stagnating among the Palestinians and Israelis due to the war of Israel and Hamas.
Even Israel's ultra-right-wing National Security Minister Etama Ben Gavir recently claimed that allowing Palestinians living in the West Bank would be risky to enter Jerusalem.
However, recently America called on Israel to allow Muslims to pray in Al-Aqsa during the month of fasting. US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said in a statement that raising tensions in the West Bank is harmful to Israel's own safety.
