US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller has said that the Bangladesh issue is discussed with India.
He spoke in response to a journalist's question at the local press conference on Tuesday (October 8).
The former Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina, is now sitting in India and trying to destabilize Bangladesh, has there been any discussion with India in this matter?
In response to the journalist's question, spokesman Matthew Miller said, ‘I can tell you that during our meeting with the officials of the Indian government, the issue of Bangladesh came up at the same time as we talked about the regional issues. Apart from that, I have nothing to say specifically about this issue.’
The journalist wants to know from Biden Miller how the Biden administration with Bangladesh wants to advance the bilateral relationship.
In response, Matthew Miller said, ‘We continue to work with the Bangladesh government with economic stability, democracy, security and the challenges of the Rohingya refugees. He has a fruitful meeting with Yunus and we look forward to continuing to make progress in all these matters.’
