Following a tip-off, law enforcement raided the offices of Oxying (www.oxying.com), a web business based in City Heart, 3rd Floor, Naya Paltan, Dhaka, arresting owner Faruk Siddik for allegedly helping build and host websites spreading anti-religious and propaganda material.
Law enforcement stated that during the raid, they uncovered websites developed and hosted by Oxying for clients already under separate investigations. Following the raid, several of these sites — including optamic.com, search70.com, and bengaljournal.com — were taken offline, officers confirmed.
Now on bail, Faruk Siddik is barred from web development or hosting activities until the investigations conclude.
